Play in a variety of styles, and accommodating to the client's wishes.

Engineer/Producer

Aid the client with determining song arrangements, instruments, desired sound, and method of recording.

Set-up instruments, mics, and placement, and record all tracks to tape or harddrive.

Process and tweak recorded tracks to achieved desired sound, and to fit in the mix.

Management/Consulting

Advise client on song selection and order for demos and for-release material.

Create strategies for recruiting other musicians for paid or joining situations.

Advise client on maintaining account of progress for recording sessions.  This includes helping engineers and producers to better understand their needs, by utilizing methods to set agendas, define objectives, create markers of progress, and develop reasonable and achievable goals.

Help client craft budget and agenda for sessions (e.g.: what is the maximum amount of money that can be spent, how long do you think the sessions will go, do you have expectations of problems or obstacles that are being factored into your time and budget projections, what do you consider to be a professional recording, how likely is it that you can achieve a level of quality with the given budget and schedule, where can you make sacrifices, if necessary etc).
